Welcome to IAUPC 2010

Greetings,

We, at Islamic Azad University, have the honor to be the host of the great International Architecture and Urban Planning Competitions (IAUPC) yearly. The First Annual Competition will be held in 2010 and includes two different sections:

  1. Article Competition: Sustainable Urban Regeneration (SUR2010)

Prominent organizations such as UNESCO, Sustainable Development in Developing Countries organization (SDDC) will participate in this event as competition partners. As several faculty members from York University of Canada will be the referees for the article section (SUR2010) and some university professors of Islamic Azad University, American University of Sharjah, University of Sharjah, and Ajman University of Science and Technology will be among jury members of Project section (SRD2010) and many university students will submit their articles and projects, IAU wishes to cordially invite all students interested in architecture, urban planning and design, constructing and developing housing as well as architects, planners, engineers, developers, educators, researchers, social scientists, environmentalists, policy makers, administrators, managers, non-governmental organizations, concerned citizens to this competition.

We hope your participation would pave the way for further cooperation in future scientific and academic research affairs in Dubai and would provide great academic honors and assets to the United Arab Emirates.
